1. Each motion sensor contains a predefined room name -- kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room. Place the sensor in the corresponding room.
2. Motion sensors must be ~1.5 meters (4.5 feet) above the floor attached to a wall with unobstructed view 105 degree horizontal and 45 degree vertical cone from the device face.
3. Do not place motion sensors on a shelf or behind glass.
4. Sensors must be placed within 30 feet of the location of the gateway in order to communicate. They do not need a direct line of sight to the gateway.

Yes. The gateway connects through your loved one's internet router when configuring the device in the Thessai application. The internet connection must be continuous for the Thessai system to work, but the connection speed does not require high band-width.

1. With Thessai it is not necessary for the loved one to interact with any motion sensing device. The Thessai system integrates into the home discreetly, without interfering with day-to-day life of the loved one.
2. The loved one does not use the Thessai mobile application. That is reserved for caregivers.
3. Panic buttons are available for the loved one in cases of emergencies. The loved one may press the button when they need to communicate an emergency or need to communicate with the caregiver immediately.

• When Thessai identifies a change in routine, it sends you a notification through the app, this allows you to contact the person and make sure that everything is fine.
